In a Country like Catalonia, which is vulnerable to water scarcity in case of drought in the zones that concentrate more than 80% of the population, the reuse of water becomes a resource particularly sensible and strategic that cannot be neglected. Inaccessible water is always the most expensive.

Water reuse is a process that needs of higher investments that natural water capitation, but in scarcity situations it is a fundamental tool that allows to alleviate possible drought episodes and guarantee water supply to the population.

In this session, Jordi will expose the benefits of water reuse technologies, arguments against costs and social limitations.
