World Water Day

22 March, World Water day. This day intends to highlight the relevance of this common good for life and ecosystems.

In the 22nd of March 1993,  the United Nations General Convention declared the World Water day. This date was formerly presented by the Program 21 at the United Nations Conference for the Environment and Development at Rio de Janeiro.

 

The I International Congress on Water and Sustainability celebrates this day enhancing the importance of water for life and ecosystems and how big is the impact in the environment human acts and activities.

 

Therefore, it is of major importance to face issues related to water with maximum rigor and looking after sustainability and common benefits.
